Fruit trees that actually fruit.
Citrus, avocado, low-chill peaches, bananas, mango, berries, moringa, turmeric, perennial greens and herbs, every one of them trialled and proven in a warm climate before we sell it. The most nourishing food you can eat is the food you pick yourself, ripe, from a plant whose history you know. Real stock, real prices, available for pickup, local delivery, or shipping where reasonable and permitted.
What we carry
Everything here is picked for warm-climate conditions: sand, heat, humid summers and the occasional freeze. If it will not take that, we do not sell it.
Mango Trees
Grafted mangoes that fruit in three to four years, picked for Central Florida.
Avocado Trees
Cold-hardy Mexican and West Indian types that actually survive a Lake County winter.
Peaches, Plums and Stone Fruit
Low-chill varieties bred by the University of Florida for our short winters.
Tropical and Rare Fruit
Lychee, longan, jaboticaba and the unusual things worth making room for.
Bananas and Plantains
Fast, tropical and genuinely easy. The quickest fruit you will ever grow here.
Berries and Brambles
Southern highbush blueberries and other berries that fruit without a real winter.
Perennial Greens and Edible Leaves
The plants that feed you every week rather than once a year.
Herbs and Medicinals
Turmeric, ginger and kitchen herbs that treat a Florida summer as a feature.
Figs
Closed-eye varieties that shrug off an August downpour, grown for Florida sand.
Citrus
Lemons, limes, oranges and grapefruit from a certified Florida citrus nursery. Collected or delivered locally, never shipped.
Ready to go now
The varieties we would plant in our own yard this season.
Where to Find Us
Weekdays at the nursery. The whole range is standing where it grows, which is the best way to buy a tree: you pick the actual plant. Visits to the nursery are by appointment: call or text us on (407) 439-5000 to arrange a time.
Weekends at Renninger's Flea Market in Mount Dora. We set up on Friday evening and bring whatever is left back to the nursery when the market closes on Sunday, so what you see at the booth is what we brought that weekend. No need to call, just come.
Not sure what suits your yard? Bring a photo and rough measurements. Choosing the right variety for your spot matters far more than anything you will do to the tree afterwards.

What Grows in a Warm Climate
Mild winters, sandy soil, and a hard freeze every few years. What that actually means for fruit.
