Growing Emerald Blueberry in Central Florida

Full sun and genuinely acidic soil, pH 4.5 to 5.5. This is the one thing blueberries will not compromise on. Mulch with pine bark, never lime, and irrigate with water that is not alkaline.

Planting, watering, feeding, pruning and troubleshooting: read Growing Blueberries in Central Florida. Soil acidity decides this one. Get the pH right and southern highbush blueberries are among the easiest fruit here; get it wrong and nothing else you do matters.
